Introduction to Crane Rigging

Course description

The Introduction to Rigging course is a beginner-level course that covers basic rigging terminology, practices, and means of avoiding rigging failures and incidents.  Introduction to Rigging is intended to provide course participants with a broad overview of rigging to help create a comprehensive overall understanding of the principles of Rigging, safe work practices, actions to take while working around rigging operations, and acceptable use of Rigging.

This course will teach participants proper general practices, methodologies of safely rigging and transporting loads, and the materials utilized to accomplish those tasks.

The recommended audience for this course is individuals who will work around Rigging and material handling activities, including general construction workers, supervisors, and managers.
